Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and welcome back to day twelve.

Today I want to encourage you to avoid looking for the next best thing!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Tristan Griffiths and you can find me as @ImTristanG across all the socials, please do reach out to me and connect with me wherever you most like to spend time.

Now it sounds crazy to advise you to ‘avoid the next best thing’ because by definition, it’s the next best thing.

But really, quite often, we’re not on top of the tasks that we need to be, we’re not creating the content, we’re not responding to the messages, we’re not documenting, creating and running the right processes within our business.

We’re so often caught up in looking for the next tool, or the next platform that’s gonna accelerate our business, and take it to the next level – Looking for that next best thing!

Some people refer to this as shiny object syndrome, but however you look at it, it can be a distraction.

I want to encourage you today, not to be put off by this idea of not looking for it.
I want you to look to the positive side of, understanding that you have way more ready, in the palm of your hand, where you are.

Start utilising the tools that you already have and understanding those, before looking for something new.

I want you to start creating content with what you have.
Don’t wait to get that perfect lighting or that perfect camera.

If you own a smartphone, you have most of what you need already in the palm of your hand.

Start today, with what you have, before looking for something further or better.

Don’t look for the next best thing;
Start where you are with what you have

And start creating, start documenting and make sure that you’re doubling down and improving your processes along the way to ensure that you’re pushing your business forward.

So today don’t look for the next best thing, but double down and be the absolute best with what you already have!!
